Flight Rules

Absolutely NO force-catching of any variety. With or without trigger warnings. No exceptions.

In the Female Flight Form there is a box for requirements. Please place whatever requirements or notes you feel are relevant to potential suitors. Size, color preferences, courting-story, etc.

The female's rider MUST write the flight story. This doesn't mean smut, this means the Chase portion of the Flight itself. How the female conducts herself (does she blood? Eat everything in sight?) and how long and complicated the Flight is will impact the size of the clutch.

Your dragon must be an adult with the adult picture uploaded. Hatchlings and Weyrlings are much too young to even consider flying an option.

Females should sign up to rise at only one weyr at a time. I won't be checking, but please abide by the honor code here. Males can partake in as many flights as they have IC energy for.

The dragon does not have to be from Alt-Benden to rise here. In fact, no one is actually from Alt Benden. Flights here are conducted largely in secret from the rest of Pern at-large in this setting. The Eienic Silver dragon Mara uses her magic to keep any Flights happening around Coast Hold and Alternate Benden from impacting the region emotionally. Clutches are laid on the Benden Sands only when the clutchparents are clearly Pernese. Dragons of other species lay their clutches in a large, magic-heated Cavern near the Waypoint.

No time limits on when a female may sign up to rise again OOCly, but ICly queen-types rise 2-3 times a year and green-types rise 6-8 times a year.
