Prella found her way to Alt Benden in the manner of most off-worlders - by accident.

Thankfully, she was in human form when she washed up on the shore of Coast Hold, even if the young fisherman that found her looked a bit love-struck as he nursed her back to health. She let him down gently enough, and they remain friends to this day.
Unfortunately, her magical nature was discovered by Mara, and she found herself forced to endure that binding spell. Sure, she understands the point of it - but does Mara have to be so -overbearing- about it?

Free-spirited as she is, Prella decided she liked some of the other 'off worlders' that were taking up residence north of Coast Hold. She even agreed to be a speaker of sorts for likeminded souls who were just too afraid to confront Mara directly.
Prella, for her part, isn't afraid of Mara in the slightest. Sure Mara has age and magic, but Prella has youth and magic - and she's not afraid to use it.
