Assistant to Mara of Alt Benden Weyr
Nylave is a limited shape shifter; she can take on the form of a human woman (variable age) but her coloring always remains a bit 'off' and she cannot maintain it for long.
She typically uses her energy to assist Mara as a healer for new arrivals through the Waypoint and is constantly on the look out for her missing brothers, Aumalaen and Norien.

She is considered a 'mutt' (as all Old Blood Fire Ridge Weyr Eienic Dragons are) and does not have the powers of the true Eienics, like Mara or Roahe.
​
Her magic comes from her own core, and she does not have a connection to the Deep Magic. She does not have a Link and is not capable of securing one.
She is capable of bonding with someone else in the manner of Pernese dragons, and can do so at any point as an adult. Once made, however, she cannot undo it.

Light and delicate, Nylave is a gifted healer and has a fierce pride about her abilities. She never stays long out of a fight and is very agile in the air, performing extreme aerial maneuvers that generally scare the wits out of anyone who happens to be watching.
